My name is Jorge Diaz and I am a personal trainer here at WellFit. Fitness has played a huge role in my life, at a young age I became interested in learning about implementing an active lifestyle. I have competed in a variety of sports that include soccer, Tae Kwon Do, and Olympic Weightlifting. Through my experience as an athlete, I became interested in learning more about fitness and health, and I went on to graduate from St. Mary’s University with a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise & Sport Science. During my undergraduate studies, I’ve developed an interest in therapeutic exercise while working as a Student Athletic Trainer and in the physical therapy setting, teaching individuals who have acquired injuries to utilize exercise in helping them optimize their ability to function and achieve a satisfactory quality of life. I worked with all types of clientele, from collegiate-level athletes to the person with barely any experience in fitness, and I know how to help my clients reach their goals in the safest, yet most effective way possible.
