The mission of WellFit Private Fitness is to motivate, support and be a positive role model for all of our clients; to help achieve and exceed all of their fitness and nutrition goals; to always provide ongoing support far after their program in order to continue to live a healthy and active lifestyle.

WellFIT Private Fitness is one of the most reputable and professional training firms in south Texas – and is located just steps from your front door – in the heart of Castle Hills.

WellFIT Private Fitness recently relocated to 1919 Lockhill-Selma Suite #101, a 3,800 square foot private training facility, that provides personal training services, customized nutrition therapy and small group fitness.

The new space allows WellFIT to offer additional group fitness classes to include yoga, barre, hip hop cardio, fitpump and more. In addition, all clients have access to the new facility for cardio training on the alternative days that they are not scheduled with their trainer. The new facility also includes a large stretching and rehabilitation area, as well as “his” and “her” bathrooms. Also, new in 2015, WellFIT Private Fitness will offer monthly seminars on topics such as nutrition, sports conditioning, diabetes care and much more.

Meet The Owner

pattyWellFIT has been established in San Antonio since 2002 and has been located in Castle hills area since 2012. Owned and operated by Patricia Englund, with over 25 years fitness industry experience.

Patricia, AKA “Patty the Punisher,” holds a B.S. in Sociology and an M.S. in Nutrition Sciences from UC Berkeley. Englund also holds certifications from the ACSM, ISSA and is a CES (Cancer Exercise Specialist) and Post Rehab Specialist.

Englund has been involved in fitness her entire life, having grown up with her father, a competitive bodybuilder and semi-pro baseball player. She learned early on in her years about the benefits of regular exercise and the proper nutrition.

Englund has always been a motivator and mentor to individuals who come in contact with her, due to her self-discipline, training techniques and her overall charismatic outlook on life. Most recently, she has been a great influence on individuals over 40 who struggle with various ailments. Patricia, now 49 years of age, lives with Hashimotos Hypothyroid and has learned to break through the barriers of this frustrating disease. Through her clean eating habits, careful supplementation intake, and rigorous exercise program, she is now in the best shape of her life and is improving daily.

Englund is an award-winning competitive bodybuilder, powerlifter and figure competitor. She is married to Jason Englund and has two grown sons, Jaron and Kayne Khoury. She also prides herself on her new babies, WellFIT’s assistant coaches — Uno, her Chihuahua / Rat Terrier / Jack Russell mix, and James Franco, her Doxy / Catahoula mix — both rescues from local San Antonio shelters.

Fun fact about Patty?
She used to be in a breakdancing crew in the late 1970s and she still has some skills!
